With only a backpack on her back and a spark of curiosity in her soul Rose left her home country (the Netherlands) to pursue a life as a nomad.
But when setting foot on this island, she found several reasons to commit to a life in SXM, a life away from travel blogging and photography. It’s safe to say that Rose fell in love with this tiny piece of paradise, combined with meeting her perfect life partner, and St. Martin soon became home!
When the romance with Douglas (owner of Rainbow Café) started, Rose began running their social media. This focused effort and passion initiated a transformation when she decided to open her very own boutique on the top floor – A truly feminine store was born, the Rainbow Boutique by Rose.
Located right on Grand Case beach, the Rainbow Boutique achieved the status of the Most Instagrammable Store on the entire island of Saint Martin/Sint Maarten. So don’t fight the urge; go check out their profile, and we’ll be here when you get back.
Their focus is to make the beauty of women stand out – everything is about femininity. Rose applies all that she’s observed throughout her travels right in her boutique. After a quick conversation with her, it is evident that she wanted to create a unique shopping experience in which there’s always something happening. Rainbow Boutique showcases Bohemian styles, silk fabrics, beachwear, bikinis, cover-ups, hats, sunglasses, nightlife dresses, everyday clothing, Tahitian pearl jewelry, bracelets, necklaces, and high-quality local handwork.
And best of all is that all products are sold at very reasonable prices, so there’s no need for riches in order to be beautiful.
